Privacy Policy

This policy covers shellricktech.co.za, operated by ShellRick Tech ("we", "us"). It does not cover our separately operated products — Quiz Bru, RunYourNumbers, and KeyForge — each of which has its own privacy practices on its own domain.

This website does not run analytics, advertising, or tracking scripts, and does not use cookies to identify or profile visitors. We do not operate a contact form — the only way to reach us through this site is by emailing contact@shellricktech.co.za directly from your own email client.

If you email us, we receive whatever personal information you choose to include — typically your email address, name if you sign it, and the content of your message. We don't collect anything beyond what you send us voluntarily.

We use the information in your email solely to read, respond to, and follow up on your enquiry — for example, a product question, a bug report, or a consulting request. We don't use it for marketing, don't sell it, and don't share it with third parties.

We retain email correspondence for as long as is reasonably necessary to resolve your enquiry and keep a record of past consulting or support discussions, after which it may be deleted as part of routine inbox cleanup.

This website is served from third-party cloud infrastructure. Standard web server logs (such as IP address, browser type, and pages requested) may be retained briefly by our infrastructure provider for security and operational purposes, not for tracking individual visitors.

Under the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA), you have the right to ask what personal information we hold about you, request that it be corrected or deleted, and object to how it's processed. Since the only personal information we hold is what you've emailed us, the simplest way to exercise any of these rights is to email contact@shellricktech.co.za.

If you believe we've handled your information improperly, you may also lodge a complaint with South Africa's Information Regulator (inforegulator.org.za).
